First Joint Plenary of the Pacific Area Standards Congress (PASC)/Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (PAC)
As the Pacific Rim's leading associations of standardization and accreditation
bodies, the Pacific Area Standards Congress (PASC) and the
Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (PAC) are key players in facilitating trade and commerce among economies
in the Asia Pacific region.
For the first time, the U.S. is hosting this joint plenary session, bringing 150 delegates and invited guests from 20 countries throughout the
Pacific Rim together in one of our nation’s most prominent economic, cultural, and picturesque communities: Honolulu.
The purpose of this week-long event is to provide a central venue for discussions that will shape the future direction of Asia
Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) member economies.
