First Joint Plenary of the Pacific Area Standards Congress (PASC)/Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (PAC)

As the Pacific Rim's leading associations of standardization and accreditation bodies, the Pacific Area Standards Congress (PASC) and the Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (PAC) are key players in facilitating trade and commerce among economies in the Asia Pacific region.

For the first time, the U.S. is hosting this joint plenary session, bringing 150 delegates and invited guests from 20 countries throughout the Pacific Rim together in one of our nation’s most prominent economic, cultural, and picturesque communities: Honolulu. The purpose of this week-long event is to provide a central venue for discussions that will shape the future direction of Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) member economies.

When and Where?

On 18-26 May 2013, the United States will play host to the world's standardization community as the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) welcomes PASC and PAC to Honolulu, Hawaii. The official venue is the The Modern Honolulu – a full-service hotel and meeting center located at the gateway to Waikiki Beach, just fifteen minutes miles from the Honolulu International Airport.

Who Can Participate?

Participation in PASC/PAC 2013 is open to delegates appointed by PASC and PAC members, as well as representatives of invited international organizations.
